Dyslexia Association of Singapore – Preschool Seminar 2018

Back by popular demand for the 6th year, the Preschool Seminar 2018 is a seminar organised by Preschool professionals from Specialised Educational Services (SES), a division of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore.

Preschool practitioners from the Dyslexia Association of Singapore will share about educating the young ones and also tips and tricks to support the weaker learners. Featuring two keynote speakers who will discuss transitioning to primary school as well as social skills for children, the Preschool Seminar 2018 also includes 4 breakout workshops in various topics.

11th BDA International Conference and EXPO: Evidence to Practice and Back Again

The BDA’s 11th International Conference brings together leading academics from across the world, providing a platform for cutting edge research and thinking.


The three days are an opportunity for the education community to network and build connections which go beyond the life of the conference.

The 2018 theme ‘Evidence to Practice and Back again’ will provide some great insights into how best to apply evidence and research on the ground to deliver strong impact and outcomes for dyslexic people of all ages in a wide variety of settings.

The SEN Jigsaw Conference 2018. Helping to solve the puzzle for your child.

Staffordshire’s yearly Special Educational Needs conference provides a holistic resource to supporting those with SEN such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, speech and language, auditory processing and visual processing.

Whilst there is a focus on children, the content will equally be appropriate to SEN in adult education too.

Dyslexia Association of Singapore – UnITE SpLD 2018

June 20th to 22nd – Singapore, SG

The UnITE SpLD Conference seeks to bring together parents, teachers and practitioners working with children with specific learning difficulties and special educational needs. This conference will be showcasing research that covers aspects of behavioural, literacy and social emotional support, intervention and assessment for children with special learning needs. Come and listen to our SpLD experts share their research. Research will be presented it short, engaging and entertaining sessions accompanied by poster presentations and the chance to talk directly with researchers who are making a difference in the Asian region.
